After all this time, the glorious day of greatness has come.
After a few days off work, and some late-night coding that has finally put my computer science degree to good use, we should now have a working system to add entries to the class lists.
That said, testing has not been extensive, and there may be some kinks to work out. I would therefore ask that if you see something weird, something you don’t understand, or something you’d like to add (the new behind-the-scenes design makes adding things much easier), send me an email at this address.
In the meantime, feel free to fill out the form, and I look forward to seeing your new entries and adding them to the site within the next week.

Wanted: All alumni faculty and staff of John Rennie High School
John Rennie High School will be celebrating it’s 50th anniversary in 2005. A multi year anniversary reunion is planned for May 20 - 23, 2005 and as such, all alumni, faculty and staff of John Rennie High School (1955 - 2005) are asked to submit their name and contact information to the John Rennie Reunion Database - www.JRHS50.ca.

Beloved teacher Steve Murphy passes away I was saddened to get forwarded an email from Sheila Southon about the untimely passing of Steve Murphy:
“As probably many of you already know, Mr. Steve Murphy died suddenly last night (Sunday Nov. 3, 2002) of a brain anurysm.
Mr. Murphy was a well loved and respected teacher at PC for 25 years and this is a shock to us all. Our prayers go out to his family at this time, and to the many of you who were touched by his wonderful attitude as teacher or coach, and who will sorely miss him.

Like the new colors? Neither do I. Blame whoever chose PC’s official colours, and just be glad it’s not the other way around! Also a new reunion page has been setup. Check there for info regarding reunions for the various graduating classes.

The Class of ‘81 is having a pre-reunion on June 9, 2001. Ron Nugent writes: “We are getting together at the ‘Rez’ and Chez Pauls, only these classy places will do. Hopefully if there is enough interest we will start to plan the 25th for 2006. 20 years already holly sh*t do I feel old all of a sudden”

After discussing with Ron Nugent (this site’s web host), we’ve agreed that if anyone wishes to create a site for their class, they can do so. You’ll have a fairly easy to remember URL (pchs.dzyn.net/xxxx/) as well as FTP access to upload whatever files you wish (only those related to your PCHS class of course, and nothing illegal =), oh yeah, and no banner ads. So if anyone is interested in setting up a site for their graduating year, send me an email.

Welcome to the all-new Virtual Agenda! We’ve moved everything over to the new pchs.dzyn.net server and now we’re being hosted by Computer dzyn Systems. Most of the changes to the website are backended, so you won’t notice much of a change, but one brand new feature that should make a big difference is the new bulletin boards! There’s one for each graduating year since 1972, and everyone’s invited to post messages.For the Class of ‘78: the reunion page has been updated.

We’ve added two search engines to the website. The search is powered by whatUseek, one searches the entire website and the other searches the Student Index.

The Former Grad website has been officially launched.
http://pchs.dzyn.net/classof/The entries are separated by graduating year and then in alphabetical order by last name (as the students were known then). Students can link to their own individual entry in the page using the following syntax:
http://pchs.dzyn.net/classof/year.html#lastname_f (where “f” is your first initial)
For example, Jane Doe from the Class of 1980 would link to herelf:
http://pchs.dzyn.net/classof/1980.html#doe_j
In any case, there are links on the pages themselves for the individual people that you can bookmark.
The entries themselves have taken on a new format. There’s a new color scheme, the names are bigger, and new entries include Web Page Address, Picture URL, ICQ number, and up to three favourite teachers. You’re welcome to update your entries if you would like.

Well it’s been a while since the last update but I’ve still been busy with the site. The conversion of the former grad page to the former grad website is almost complete with just a few more classes to go. You can check it out for yourself if you would like. Also the homepage has changed to a design I like a little better. Colin Gibson from the class of 2001 made a suggestion to have a PCHS Yahoo! Club, and so I created one. More about the former grad updates when it’s officially launched (so don’t tell anyone). Finally, the site has a shorter URL for those of you who can just never remember it:

Only a month of school and Cato is already being missed. To help ease the suffering, we’ve added some of the more special “Thought For Today“s with a link to Harper’s Index Online in our Publications directory for those of you who really missed it.

With a new school year comes a new color scheme. The board has once again succeeded in providing colors even more repulsive than the year before.
Also as some of you may know with the recent school board changes in Quebec the Baldwin-Cartier School Board no longer exists. The change has gone over smoothly except when it comes to the WWW. We’ll just have to wait until they get their internet affairs in order.

Because of an upload problem, the entire Welcome page was not available for a certain period of time. The Get Interactive section wasn’t available. The file has been reloaded and everything should be fixed.Also, Listbot (with Virtual Agenda Update) has been having problems recently which have been fixed. You may now subscribe to the update.
Finally, after having server problems, our V-3 URL (http://surf.to/pchs) is now working again.

- A number of new changes have been made to the website, Geocities’ new subdirectories and a few other changes I wanted to make. There is a new color scheme (yellow links instead of green) and the new main page, also a couple of pages have some added text (the Welcome Page, About this Site, About P.C.H.S. and What’s New?)
Global Changes:
-A new color scheme is being placed on most pages. It is designed to reflect PC’s true colors.
-Bottom-of page links and background.gif are slowly being phased out
-Links outside the website now point outside the surf.to/pchs frame
-New directories mean page relocations and some possible broken linksPage Changes:
-The Welcome page has been reworked slightly with some added text, and the PC logo animation has changed slightly.
-About this Site has some added text to explain the site.
-About P.C.H.S. has some added text.
-Class of… has been changed so that people can specify more than one CEGEP and University
-The P.C.H.S. Agenda pages have been moved to the /agenda directory.
